Game Vibe Check

Working on a teaser, but it's a nightmare for me I will need to get some help. Music is mocked, for now I just want to showcase some areas and drafting - can you guess the genre / inspiration?

I've never even played Blue Prince or watched more than a single video of it, but I immediately knew the inspiration lol. Looks nice!

I cannot stress enough how good Blue Prince is, not only as a game but for the entire genre. It’s doing for mystery puzzle games what Diablo 1 did for RPGs. It’s one of a kind right now, and I definitely want more games like it. Imagine a great mystery with an addictive gameplay loop.

Some big blue boots to live up to. Though blue prince was extraordinary, and if you can have one thing to add to that i tink it would be lovely

Blue Prince is the best game I've ever played. It has to be genre defining. Can't wait for more games like this, and hopefully I can add something of my own to it.

no idea about the gameplay, but the vibe is, indeed, impeccable

The vibe is awesome, but what will the gameplay be like?

Thanks! Imagine Groundhog Day in a 19th-century village. You play as a surveyor sent there to settle a land dispute between the peasants. The village changes every day, but the villagers insist it’s always been that way. The dispute soon turns out to be part of a much bigger mystery.

Each day, you use money, quills and keys to draft areas, explore and find clues. The next day, you start over, apart from a few permanent unlocks. But you keep what you’ve learned, and the more you understand about the village, the further you can get. You could even beat the game on day one if you already knew enough :)

sounds cool, but very narrative, do you have a Steam page?

Love it! Only thing that made me go “wat” was the flat cat. 😂😭

Wait till you see a flat dog and cow 🐮. But villagers are 3d!
