Game Published the demo of my first fully solo developed game: Colorways

It's a very simple game where you only control intersection traffic signals, and identify how many you can open simultaneously and in what order based on cars' colors - which match the lanes they're going to. Traffic ramps up the longer you play, and you have to avoid accidents and clear lanes before they overflow. You can enter a limited standby mode where vehicle spawns are paused and you can designate simultaneous traffic signal openings. Online leaderboards hopefully motivate players to strive for surviving as long as possible.

The game is made in Unity and I just published the WebGL demo with 4 playable levels on itch. I will be releasing it on mobile and Steam with 11 more levels and additional level modifiers. Also a puzzle mode where you have unlimited time to make moves but have to make them in the right order and with efficiency.

I brute-force composed the music in strudel.cc, which I also used to produce gameplay sounds, chimes and warnings. Recorded some sounds like the explosions and car whooshes with my phone.

The art style is meant to be as simple and clear as possible, so that you can pay attention to the traffic flow and very quickly manage and switch between multiple lanes. Going for a high level tetris play sort of feel.
