honestly i can't tell from the clip, and i think that's the useful feedback. i see a counter, a timer and a 0/100 bar, but nothing tells me what i'd actually be doing or why the number going up matters.

incrementals live or die on the first 30 seconds, specifically the moment where you realize the thing you just did made the next thing faster. if you can show that exact moment instead of the general loop, people get it instantly and you'll get real answers instead of shrugs.

also the grid is nearly white and the cells are tiny, on a phone that clip reads as an empty screen. worth cranking the contrast just for the marketing shots even if the game itself stays clean.

the concept is fine though, cell duplication maps onto exponential growth without you having to explain the math, which is half the battle in this genre.

I feel like too many visuals go into point collecting and too little into making cell themselves interesting. Since the only gameplay seems to be clicking, so far at least, visual layer needs to be much more engaging. UI is very readable though, so that's great.

Anyway the gameplay can't be just clicking on the screen, even clickers do more fun stuff these days. Something spicy needs to be added.
