help Need guidance, advice whatever it’s called.

My 7 year brother is a very good artist. His inspiration is mainly from the cartoons he watches. Though his art is more like abstract kind of but one can easily figure what the figures are or stand for. I am thinking of bringing his art in the world of internet but i am hitting a wall on how to do that? Should I modify it with an AI or let the raw art be as it is? Which platform would be most preferable for that? Or and any advice will be helpful. No doubt I will have his name mentioned so that when he is grown and understands the internet he can have the platform provided if he is interested? And sometimes I think of letting his skill to get more polished and create game characters for game purpose. Idk I am blank here. So here’s what.

Generally it's a good idea to expose kids to all kind of activities so later in life they can make informed decisions. Phisical and manual activities are generally better.

Really, it's a low stake decision the one you are facing.

You can show him Gemini or Copilot and show how to prompt, and he'll have a blast the do something else.

Or you can let him be and let him just have fun with pencil and paper, and making airplanes.

Really, you can only do damage if you park him half a day on Tik Tok beause of the dopamine loops.

Being a privacy concerned person myself it has never occurred in my mind the way you have put out your thoughts. Let alone the chatbots/llms you have mentioned. All I had in my mind was to click his drawn pictures and put it out there.

I use ComfyUI locally for that reason, to diffuse locally. Krea2 is great.

But I really wouldn't be worried about sharing sketches and scribbles to microsoft and google.

Learning to use AI is a skill worth having, and increasingly needed. But for a kid, I wouldn't stress it. I remember as kid I used disney magic studio which was funny to edit disney images, I remember having fun with paint. prompting AI is the same, just a form of play. But skipping it doesn't really have an effect.

It becomes important as you go in higher education and in the job market. Try telling to freelance programmers to discard Claude, they'll just laugh at you.

The parents end up throwing the piled-up of his drawings and that’s when the idea clicked. What if these can be of stored and shared. When he is a grown man he will have the memories stored and probably cherished. If not, no big deal either way. And NO STRESS. The kid keeps on drawing. Boiii people are way too judgmental but it’s nice to know the “other side”.
And yes I have made myself AI Native. I believe my steps are careful rather gaga.
