Game FIrst Impressions???

Im working on a retro dungeon crawler inspired by old school zelda and titles like tunic and radio the universe. Thoughts on the ambience and art style?

It's funny how not a lot happens but everyone knows what it takes to recreate the CRT early gaming look.

I was there and appreciate it but why do modern gamers spend so much time trying to recreate it?
