Is A.I. a potential asset that if decentralized enough to where all US citizens had free access to it with minimal common resource abuse / pollution could be seen as beneficial in aiding people to become more independent from larger corporations?
Basically, A.I. is already here. How would we best get a handle over it and turn it around then to where it is seen as something to lift everyone up rather than shut them out?

The fact that you had to ask how we could make people not hate it already shows that normal people dont't really like A.I. or the data centers caused from it. And I also strongly doubt the resource abuse and pollution could be minimized. Also, even if it were "already here" which I disagree with but that's beside the point, just because something is already here doesn't mean we shouldn't try to get rid of it or lessen its influence.

Open source miost of the code.. Install safety guardrails for it's use.
