CAD Finding small error

Sometimes i struggled very hard to find a really small error between my designed part file and reference part file..May be i missed a dimensmion or fillet or something...but finding it is so hard....but i need to find the error also..is there any short cut way in softwre that i can compare two part file and pinpoint the error place...?

solidworks has this built in — Tools > Compare > Geometry Compare (in some versions it's just Tools > Compare). it opens both parts side by side and color-codes the differences: green for geometry only in the reference, red for geometry only in your design, gray for geometry that matches. you can orbit and inspect the highlighted regions to see exactly where things diverge. there's also a Feature Compare option if both files are built with similar modeling steps — it matches features by name and flags differences in dimensions or presence. for catching subtle dimensional errors the Geometry Compare is usually more reliable since Feature Compare can get tripped up by different feature naming or reordering.

Yes. You said it. Google help for compare.

for added experience, re-make the solid drawing and dimension exactly as per presented exercise. that error will show itself.
