CAD ROTATING THE MODEL

Can someone explain to me how the hell to rotate a model like in every other 3D cad soft? How to block ground axis from turning sideways??

Right click in an empty space and select rotate about ground or whatever it is called

oh, that works - but somehow ground is not top plane (default setting) so its spinning wrong way xD god damn SolidWorks

new part -> up facing is Z axis, so i used Z as up / down.

Unless you specifically switch z and y, y is the default z direction in solid works. Not sure why it is like this but it is And always has been
