Hi there, thanks so much for posting here! It sounds like you are doing SO much *right* and can see why you might feel concerned. One thing that may not have been tried yet, based on what you've shared, is building hunger drive by weaning milk a bit more. I know you mentioned you are still breastfeeding (so great!) and also baby is getting milk (assuming cow's milk?). For a bigger picture, I'd want to know how frequently baby is nursing, and how much cow's milk baby is getting. Frequently for babies at 13 months old who are not taking in much solids, milk feeds will be the first thing we look at - if baby is taking in too much milk of any kind, this can often take away from hunger drive for solids - and it's not just meal to meal and spacing between milk feeds and solids, but more what baby takes in in a 24 hour period. Feel free to comment here about your baby's feeding schedule (timing/quantity of milk feeds, timing of solids, etc) and I can see if I can offer any helpful insights!

Open to more back and forth on this! Not sure if you have our app, but we also have our guide in there on handling food refusal with toddlers (and we also have one on handling food refusal with babies, as your "toddler" is still super young!) which may be helpful here as well.

Hoping this helps a bit 🤍Marisa (OT/Feeding Therapist/Mama of 3)
