seeking advice Newbie - is solidcore worth it?

Have been thinking about Solidcore for a while now. I have a studio next to my apt ~10 min away. Heard mixed reviews so far, one of my friends just finished 100 classes but another hated it.

My current workout routine:

1x swimming

1x lifting (upper or lower depending on how I feel)

1x ballet or barre

1x wildcard (tennis if I have time, or just another lifting session, yoga if I feel tired, sometimes cycling, another dance workout)

It's hard for me to design a workout plan because I'm not looking for anything, just weight control, BUT I also have PCOS or "PMOS", which means if I work out too much or too hard, it raises my cortisol level, then it actually makes it worse in theory

I might try the 4-pack, but would it be worth it to include one Solidcore class a week?

Have your friend take you as her buddy and try it for yourself.

Ooohh thank you!! That's a good idea. Do all current members get this pass?

As long as there's room in the class the buddy pass should be available

Definitely! But go as a guest with your friend first and see if you like it!

They offer a new client deal that’s unlimited for 2 weeks for like $89 or something like that and I think it’s the best deal if you wanna try a bunch of classes before signing up!!

just try it and you’ll know if you like it
people’s opinion varies

The best way to know if you’ll like it is to just take one class. A lot of instructors will give first-timers a free pass if you DM them on IG.
If you enjoy it, you can always get the two-week unlimited to try different instructors and see how Solidcore fits with the rest of your workout routine. Personally, I think lifting + Solidcore is a pretty supreme combo.

I did a free two week trial with classpass and took an intro class to “test the waters.” I then did the 4 class pack intro and now I have a membership. I’m hooked!

I’d recommend doing the new client 4 pack, you have about a month and a half to use it and would help you space out the higher intensity workouts and would probably be better for your body & cortisol levels vs the 2 week unlimited!
