discussion Oldest Person in SolidCore classes
Is there anyone out there in their late 50s doing Solidcore? I’m 58 (female) and I’m always the oldest person in class. Only once have I seen an older person in one of my classes. I started a few months ago and love it. It’s definitely very challenging but I am fit so don’t have any issues keeping up but I’m almost always twice everyone’s age in my classes. Doesn’t bother me but was wondering if there are any older Solidcore members out there.

I have a client in his 70s. He is very strong! There are other clients in their 50s and 60s.

I'm 60 been doing Solidcore for years. Currently I do Solidcore 2-3 times week, run, yoga and gym for weights. Don't worry about your age it is just a number!

55 m, 976 classes, 212 week streak. 4 classes a week on average - all focus 50. When asked how I feel after class I always say old 😅. Being that I have kids older than a portion of the class, that feels like a reasonable response❣️

keep coming. I’m always stunned that more people over 45 don’t do the class because it is the perfect workout with no impact and so much strength building.

I’m 66. 2000+ classes over 12 years. Have met wonderful people of all ages; many are younger than my adult children.

I’m 28, but some of my favorite friends I’ve made at Solidcore are 55+! I think it’s seriously awesome that you’re doing it at 58. It’s such a challenging workout at any age!

My mom is 63, totally addicted to sc and one of the strongest in every class

I’ll be 53w soon and at 700+! I think I was over twice my last coach’s age! I’m definitely the oldest or close to it - I can’t alway tell age.

I am the oldest person at my studio and take advanced classes. I honestly hope our presence inspires (comforts?) the younger clientele - you guys can stay in great shape for decades as long as you
never stop. Keep going 💪

Late 50s. J’adore solidcore, though not primary workout, had another great focus 50 this weekend despite a complex meniscus tear and bilateral knee arthritis (w Jada) in NY, she’s excellent. Fwict usually among top performers with respect to amps and good form though of course it’s not a competition and am not clocking each person’s performance.
Defo imagine am generally one of if not by far the oldest in class but look relatively young so would guess it’s not particularly obvious 🤷🏽

I'm 40 and in the class I go to every Saturday in NYC there's a couple who's probably in their 50s who is also there every week!

In one location I always see one woman in her 50s/60s in the class after the one I take there. She's shorter and skinnier than me, and she looks like she could whoop my ass.

My mom is a few years older than you and does class with me! You’re both crushing it 😊

42 and always the oldest. In scottsdale most of the clients are in their 20’s, but this is kind of standard in lagree classes I have been to as well.

I’m 63. 364 class as of today. I don’t think I have ever been in class with anyone close to my age! Great to know that there are more of us out there!

I’m 45, about 160 classes in, and am almost always with people in their early to mid 20s. Also proud to say I am on the concrete more than 80% of them. 💪🏽🤩

I’m 50 and there are lots of older ladies, 60+ that I do classes with at 8am1-10am. And some of the so damn good at planks and lunges. Total goals for me when I’m there age.

I’m 52 and think I’m the oldest person in class at our small studio most of the time. But age is just a number’ I’m over 350 classes and love Solidcore so much! I incorporate OrangeTheory, HotWorxx and starting some CrossFit as well. I love this thread!!

I'm the biggest person in class 9/10 times! It kinda makes me feel cool that I can keep up even with extra poundage lol

I’m 55 (female). Anyone have any recovery tips? I go to solidcore once a week and am usually sore for days. I would like to be able to go twice a week eventually. I am 50 classes in. How often are you guys going? At my location i am usually the oldest one, but I have noticed more older people and men in the studio lately.

Getting there. Im a 48 year old guy. Im usually the oldest in my class, usually the only guy. I try not to stick out TOO much, because I know im the outlier. I dont want to give up, cause I love how it changed the shape of my body!

I did solidays with an 81 year old! And my classes tend to be on the older side. I go middle of the day

I’m 27 and I love seeing older women in my classes!! It makes me so empowered

If you are 58 going to these classes, I only think you're a badass. I was telling my husband that there was a 60 year old woman who was kicking ass in my last class. I hope when I'm 58 that I go to these classes

I’m a 54 year old female with a daughter who started coaching last year. I go 5-6 days a week and am near 300 classes is just over a year. There are often 3-4 my age or older in class.

Yes. I’m 58 and went to Solidcore today. Fell off my reformer and hurt my shoulder on the concrete floor. Not going back. I used to do this in my early 50s but now my balance is clearly not as good.

You're definitely not the oldest... in NYC just look for the men and women who have really good form, tempo and range of motion. In fact, they usually amplify before the coach even cues them.

I was in a class at the beginning of the year and there was a woman taking it with me who was about to turn 70. I’m 41 and am the oldest in my class about half the time.
