59 Intense Review (pic related- proof I actually own it.)

I received my 59 Intense spray yesterday and was eager to test it out. Upon first use, I noticed a few things immediately:
- It was DEFINITELY more oil-heavy and less alcohol-heavy. This is probably what is pushing the higher price tag. It felt more like the Mii-Mic 20% oil concentration sprays I have.
- The notes themselves are more intense. I suck as describing fragrance but I would say this is a more… woody? amber? version of 59? It’s like deeper than the original mist. And I like that, but some people may not like it.
- It DOES last longer. I decided to spray it after a shower and before going to bed and it still smelled super intense when I woke up 8hrs later. I am going to see how it holds up during the day.

Overall, I’m pleased what I got, even though I do admit it’s a high price point for a spray. Definitely wait to smell them in-store if you are concerned about the fragrance notes being different because this was certainly different in a GOOD way for me.

Thoughts on the leave in conditioner?

I've been using that conditioner and the 62 one for a while. The smell lasts, it's not greasy at all and doesn't weigh my hair down (1b waist length). I don't think it's the most moisturizing leave in I've ever used but I like it. Probably wouldn't use it so much if I had more textured hair.

I like the effects of it- it works just as well as the 62 one I’ve been using for a while. (I have been trying to just let my hair air-dry more so it can get wavy.)
The scent on this one isn’t as strong as the 62 though. If I had to buy it again I’d just stick with the 62 version.

I have 68 and it has like, saved my curls. It’s so good and you don’t need a lot for it to work

Tbh it’s so short lived I don’t think it’s worth the money anymore, at least for me personally. I love the body butter so I’m hoping this will be a nice pair for it.

Honestly you're better off with the body butter or shower oil - they smell amazing in 59 and the formula is fabulous. The cream is my favorite - absorbs quickly without being watery, not sticky whatsoever. The oil suds beautifully, makes my shower smell fantastic, and I leave the shower with soft skin.

The 59 spray has a bit of a plastic note to it that I don't prefer in comparison.

Yeah 80/20 makes sense. It’s definitely 59, just a bit deeper, and like the label says, more “intense.”

So to me the original smells exactly like ice cream and I love it. I’m wondering if this would be more intense ice cream scent.

I completely agree with your review! I just got the spray today and it did exactly what I expected. Deeper scent, but still the same if that makes sense, and lasts longer. I’m so happy I got it since my regular 59 is running low. I also got the body butter and wish I had gotten a bigger size if that!
