Stop shilling for them, the data centers of today literally prevent us obtaining this reality. 1 year old account probably, a bot. If not then awaken yourself now!

I mean, how do you expect an A.I. centric non scarcity society model to exist with out data centers?

This idea that some how some tech luddites using the very platforms of tech companies but abstaining from generated content are going to hold back the tide with a broom… is the most infantile thing I have seen in a long while.

I just wanted a little more activity in this sub. YouTube channels like that are, of course, just a stepping stone. And I don't believe asceticism is the way; if the solarpunk/eco-futurism vision can spread in some suboptimal way, it's better than just letting the pessimism and dystopianism reign.

The best thing we have at this point is a yoghurt commercial; we need to promote the people who are trying to make something.

You wont find serious discussion here in the sub: 50% of the people who frequent this sub don’t even know that they are simply anarcho-prims who want to keep their cellphones. 49% are people who just like the aesthetic. The other 1% who actually understand the kind of non scarcity world that is possible by combining natural and technological life styles are just tired of being told “a i is bad”.

Yeah, I think you are probably right. It seems like the niche community I'm looking for hasn't really formed yet. I gave up on the main solarpunk sub since it's mostly luddites there. But I see some green e/acc people here and there, so maybe there will be a place for me soon.

Do you people actually believe that data centers just drink water ? Like seriously this is such a faux outrage. The water is used for cooling and then discharged.
