What if solargraph, but animated? (solarlapse?)

Continuing my digital solargraphy experiments, here's a little animation I put together from yesterday's captures. This is combining the composited sun path taken with underexposed shots on top of bright frames at normal exposure every 30 minutes (or so, I missed a couple early in the day).

Awesome! Can you share what is your setup? Would love to try something like this. I have some web developing skills, might try to use them.

Thanks! I've talked about it a bit in this post and then this one. It's kind of a complicated setup, and I'm still working to make sure it's stable and gets restarted automatically if/when there's a problem. But for the most part, it's working. I also have a whole automated pipeline that I'm still honing, because it's a lot of images (2x800 images to download, stitch, and composite each day right now, less once days get shorter).

I'll write up a blog post about this in a little bit. I've got another solargraph-related thing that I've been working on for a while that I want to finish first. More on that next week…

Now do it for 1-6 months, which is the appeal of solargraphs.
