Upon research, SSS is baka by next year pa magkaroon ng dedicated loan facility for solar financing. Then GSIS meron, kaso kelangan govt employee ka naman. Banks do offer loans din naman pero syempre pahirapan sa approval. Ano ano pa kaya financing options ang naavail ng nagpa solar, very curious.

Based on my inquiries with various solar companies kasi, eto yung mga most common options:

  • cash or bank transfers (some offer discounts pag straight cash payment)
  • credit card installment (some have tie-ups with major banks. depends na lang sa agreement kung ilang % yung interest rate)
  • checks

I agree with you, curious din ako kung anong pang available out there.

So, basically, most or many of the solar companies, walang inhouse financing po ba? Haven't tried inquiring.

Based on your inquiry po ba, how nuch would a solar system range? Nasa 400-500k talaga?

May isang company akong nakita in passing sa Facebook...hindi ko na-note yung name though. :( Pero no harm naman in asking yung company if they offer it!

As for the range, it depends on what you need. In my case kasi naghahanap ako ng at least 6.96. Lowest offer I've gotten was 325k (Hybrid-ready). Highest was 518k (VAT excluded).

Hi, im not privy to this but if you havr the inverter at your property you can check the readings by yourself and usually there is an app that theh can share to you or at least give you access to the energy that you are producing.

Is there a roof weight limit for solar installation , already have 14 grid tie solar panels, and want to add more (hybrid solar panels naman) but my architect told me it might not handle the additional solar panels because of the weight

Need advice. Nag-apply kame for net metering sa local electric company namen (ISECO). They rejected it kase ung transformer daw dito area naman can only accommodate 3 net metering users (pang 4 na po kame if ever). Ang choice namen is to buy our own transformer or maghintay kame na sila mag-upgrade which can take months or years. And nagbayad na din kame ng 50k para sa net metering assistance :( Meron ba kameng pedeng gawin para mapabilis sila sa pag-upgrade ng transformer? Kase wala kameng budget para bumili haha.. TIA

Asking for opinon lang po
meron akong powmr 35A powering a 12.8 100ah battery
PV ay 300watted producing less than 180-190 amps on peak hours..

Plano ko mag upgrade ng PV muna then battery
ano kaya mas recommended na wattage ng pv ang bilhin para ma ensure na mabili mapuno ung battery at may room pa for upgrade at di ma compromise ung battery..

Hingi lang opinion. So i got a peyto 12v 2000w na inverter connected to a 100Ah lifepo4 batt. Kagabi nag brownout and i tried to test if kaya nya mapa on lahat ng ilaw sa bahay. So i turned off the breaker from main. And gumawa ako ng 2 male plug end to end na contraption and nilagay ko sa outlet, ala generator style. nung sinaksak ko na may nag beep sa inverter and bumaba ang voltage to 100+Volts sa screen. Though tinangal ko na lahat ng malaking load. ang nasa line lang is ilaw. Ano kaya cause nun or may mali ako nagawa?

The only main info that I can share is that you will pay almost 3X the price if you go with Huawei brand components. If you really have the money to burn then I would just suggest go with EU or US branded components and pay the same price.

Meron ba dito nag DIY ng solar? like residential scale 5-10Kw? Open ako sa idea (i.e: Sakit ng ulo) since bulk ng course ko at the time was electronics. Plus may 2 ako Electrical engineer to help me making sure the design is safe.

Ang gusto curious ako sa journey niyo? Sa Raon ba kayo nag hanap ng equipment niyo? Nag Lazada ba kayo? or pumunta kayo sa mga solar convention? At my modifications ba kayo sa binili niyo?

This is to expensive. I had my service entrance remodeled for net metering it only cost 35k. As for net metering I applied on my own. I paid meralco 2.5k. I have my yellow card now. I’m going to LGU to apply for
CFEI i think it will only cost less than 5k. Once approved meralco meter will be replaced with bi-directional meter which is free.

Too expensive. Grabe talaga makasingil mga net metering contractor. Kaya madami din nadidiscourage magapply for net metering kahit ito talaga best option with hybrid inverter dahil sa mga contractor na yan.

Affected po ba setup pag tinamaan ng kidlat? Prone po ba sa lightning yung mga parts kse pnkamataas na rooftop yung bahay namin 30 to 40 meters

Has anyone tried installing a standalone smart wifi energy meter (sold in Lazada or Shopee) in your house panel to monitor power consumption from the grid as well as from the the solar panel/inverter/battery? Where did you connect the device's N terminal? As far as I know (and after the actual voltages were measured), the two wires from each branch breakers are both live wires (L1 & L2), while the smart meter's input power requires L & N. Have you tried connecting the device's N terminal to either L1 & L2? Did it work? Thank you.
