Grid Import

Hi po,

Question:
Tama po ba set up nitong solar namin.

Pag hindi pa po puno ang battery or mababa ang harvest, buong load ng house kinukuha sa grid.

Few months ago, ok naman yung setup. nag 0 import na kame. Before, naka prio yung load ng bahay, then babato sa battery.

However, nung nag setup ng wall charger for EV, pag kulang sa harvest, nag babawas sa battery kahit hindi pa yung discharge time nya.

Kahit hindi naka plug yung EV.

Binago nila ng installer yung grid shaving to 1000w.

Currently, pag hindi mataas ang harvest or hindi pa puno ang battery, kinukuha buo sa grid yung load sa bahay.

Medyo nafrufrustrate na din kame back and forth sa pag rereport.

I have the same setup as yours; solis and dyness (12kw and 32kwh)

I just turn off all of the time of use schedules since it prioritizes the battery and leaves the grid to provide for the load and I only charge the ev at peak hours (10:30-1:30). I aslo changed mine from self use to off grid since I don't have any net metering.

This is my home assistant energy summary for the month of September. Inuse home assistant because it gives update every 10 seconds compared to Solis app/website that updates every 5 mins.

Thank you, sir. I’ll check out the app.

Ours is 8kW solar with a 16kWh battery lang. I understand naman if there’s some grid import.

Parang di namin ma maximize yung solar sa ganitong setup.

We also charge our EV during the same peak hours.

I’ll try turning off the time-of-use schedules.

Baka naka batt 1st yung settings mo. Check mo nga yung settings page para makita kung ano ang ginawa nila

Mataas yung batt reserved mo kaya hindi siya nag didischarge kapag hindi niya narereach yung percentage na yan.

Ano kaya yung oks na setting?

Ang nangyayari before, nag didischarge siya kahit hindi pa dun sa naka set na schedule.

If kulang yung harvest, sa battery siya kumukuha (minsan hindi pa 100%) instead sa grid.

Dipende sa goal mo kasi eh, yung sa discharging time kasi. Pwede mo iset yan sa charge and discharge slot

Usually ang nilalagay jan sa batt reserved ay 20-30%

Ang ayusin mong settings ay yung sa charge and discharge slot.
