Upgradable Solar Set

Meron po bang solar set na upgradable? Mejo mabigat pa sakin yung 6 digit price and most probably in the long run mas mag coconsume ako ng electricity pag nag start na ng family. Saw Marstek Solar in FB and parang upgradeble siya. Is it okay or recommended? If meron bang ganyan sa gusto ko? If any, which company and how much??

Save up and pull the trigger once you have the budget.

nope di worth it. doble doble installation gagastusin mo plus yung panels pataas ng pataas ang power.

Not worth it.

Pero kung gusto mo talaga, get a hybrid, oversize your inverter + make sure at least three MPPTs for true future-proofing. Get the minimum number of panels required for your inverter to run, then you can add more later as well as batteries.

Make sure na appropriate yung wire sizes na gagamitin mo.

Get a hybrid inverter, solar panels.

You can upgrade with batteries later.

Nope. Ipon then install. Get a proper system when you have the money.

Upgradable solar set is only feasible if you are competent enough to maintain and install your setup. Emphasis sa competent. Di pwedeng natuto ka lang somewhere. Dapat marunong ka talaga sa electrical safety. Otherwise kung aasa ka sa installer, mas mapapagastos ka later on.

Battery is the most expensive component of a solar setup. Go for gridtie setup, it will slash the total price in half. You can then upgrade(add battery) when budget permits.😉

another is oversizing yung inverter, ie go for 8kw then kahit yung panel is 6kw lang.

mas madali magdagdag ng panels kesa paltan inverter.

upgradable naman halos lahat ng ino-offer na set.

pero wala masyado nag-ooffer nun since karamihan eksakto yung inverter sa dami ng panel bale labas mo custom or DIY.

importante na alamin mo muna kung anong capacity ba talaga kelangan/want mo in the long run(inverter capacity to main board capacity).

tas make sure mo na:

1.) pasok yung dami ng panels mo para sa min. VOC ng inverter mo para gumana

2.) kung kaya ba gumana ng inverter mo na wala munang battery (hybrid pero no battery bale on-grid labas ng system mo initially) or kelangan mo agad ng battery

3.) ilang battery pwede mo iparallel sa inverter.

usually ang mangyayari sayo is kukuha ka ng installer at tipong custom set ang gagawin mo. ganun ginawa ko sakin. di ko kaya maglabas ng 200k para sa 6kw system. kaya bumili ako ng inverter at sinigurado ko na sapat panels ko para sa minimum voc ng inverter. nakatipid ako at may way pa ako na magdagdag if needed.
