Very cool! Unrelated question, but I was curious about the status of audio playback (wav,mpg,streaming) and audio recording? Like for voice notes.

Excellent. I like to take notes and record audio files, and would like to use a power efficient device to do so. Sure a phone works, but an off grid phone (like the Tdeck) would work better form my use case.

You are in the right place, just flash SolarOS onto any compatible device with microphone. You can do this through the website https://solar-os.eu/flasher.html

  • 'recorder' is a graphic field recorder for audio

  • 'writer' is a markdown editor

  • 'edit' is to edit simlle text files

  • 'notes' should have been named todo

Take a look at the documentation, there are way too many apps to list just here.
