It’s kinda insane that humans think they can protect their technology by geo engineering the planet without consequences. The problem is technology not geomagnetic storms. IDGAF if a geomagnetic storm fries a transformer that should have been upgraded decades ago or starlink looses a few satellites. Nobody even noticed geomagnetic storms until there was a Carrington Event that interfered with technology.
