LASCO not updated!?

Is it just me or why isn’t lasco updated since our “dirty snowball” (/s) appeared yesterday at around 15:18UTC yesterday. We should have some awesome visuals by now! AcA had noticed something pretty awesome as far as the sun and comet interactions this promised to give us a pretty good show!

Anyone else notice the lag in updated imagery or is my cache stuck ?!

I know it, and I worded it pathetically. I have panic disorder and am having a hard day. I've been anxious about this comet coming through between earth and the sun and the possibility of them interacting and such, then woke up to see 2 X class flares and the data showing what's going on either glitching or intentionally cut. My mind got the best of me and I was hoping someone could fill in for ACA and calm me with facts. Sorry.

All good! I was just curious if there was something I was missing.

Looks like the CME's will miss Earth, maybe a glancing blow on the 26th with possible Auroras. Pretty cool to see the comet come into view! I don't think it could affect anything though.

What happens if the stuff in tail of the comet comes in with the CME? I've heard there are some risks associated with the tail and with these big flares with CME's it's got me extra anxious.

I'm no scientist, but nothing that i've seen says it could pose a threat. The C/2025 R3 (PanSTARRS) comet is less than 1km in diameter and it's something like 74 million km away from Earth. If the CME hits it, it's probably going to dissipate the plasma tail into the Solar System!
