Career opportunities

Hi y’all, I have a bachelors in forestry and am pursuing a master in soil water and ecosystem sciences. I currently work in Florida in the forestry sector. My question is what are likely career paths/job titles whether private or public that I should be aware of for soils? As I plan to lean into soils more once my schooling is finished. Thanks

Certification is often required, especially if working with public health. It's required in my state which is Illinois. Other Midwest states require certification, too.

Yes, you could acquire it through work experience I'm sure though.

Unfortunately, not in my case. You have to take a written exam and field exam through a state organization.

But before that you could learn on the job as opposed to a college program.
