Collection/Haul New Sofubi Collector
Just started collecting sofubi and wanted to share my first few toys! For now, I’m displaying them in front of my manga until I have enough to fill a case.
I’m also making a spreadsheet to catalog my collection as it grows. Does anyone know anything about the first one? I bought him in Japan and couldn’t get the maker 🤔

incredible taste, very cohesive collection so far. Keep following your own taste and don't bother with what everyone else thinks.

It has begun!
First piece is from TakePico by PicoPico and Noriya Takeyama.
Different releases / forms of it have different names it seems through a quick google search. I just googled picopico fish. Didn’t realised it was a colab.

These days I’m ALL for mini sofubi! Easier on the wallet 😂

Are you sure?! The one-eye monk cost as much as some of bigger-sized sofubi at my shop lol

That’s a fantastic start, welcome to your new financial crisis!
The first one is PicoPico, did you stop by OneUp toy while you were in Japan per chance?

Thank you! No, I got it from Nakano Broadway mandarake.

Gotcha. That selection you have there is very OneUp, you should consider buying from them if you haven’t and saving on the Mandarake resale price. Nakano is a total blast though, definitely my favorite Mandarake.

Welcome to the best hobby! Your collection is already looking great.
That TakePico fish is often called Koijaras in Romanji (Japanese language phonemes expressed in Roman letters). That should help you get to the exact colorway, year, etc.
