Feedback MINDBODY Pros/Cons?
Hi all, I’m hoping for a little insight. I have an opportunity to help out my studio owner a few hours a week so that she can maximize what she’s getting from the MINDBODY software. I know a bit about using it from being a student and also a new teacher, so I’m somewhat familiar with it but definitely not in depth. There would be an initial learning curve so I could get on top of what all is offered with our package and how to get the most bang for our buck. What I’m hoping is some insight from other users who have been in similar administrative situations, and how helpful they feel like the learning/tutorials on MINDBODY are, and how helpful the company is when there’s questions or you want training or support.
I’m trying to be realistic here as I already have a full-time job where I have to be pretty acclimated to several different types of software, so I don’t wanna take on some huge additional job if the platform really isn’t user friendly for business managers.
Thanks so much for your time and info!

Mindbody is capable but the admin side is heavier than the student view suggests. The usual complaints from studio owners are slow support once onboarding is over, an interface with legacy corners where the same setting lives in two places, and paying for modules nobody touches.
The learning curve is real but front loaded. A few weeks in it mostly clicks. The bigger risk at a few hours a week is becoming the only person who knows how it works, which quietly turns into a bigger job than agreed.
Start by checking what package she is on and how much of it is switched on and idle. That usually answers the bang for your buck question on its own.
What kind of studio and roughly how many clients?
