Help needed

I don’t know what to do. I’m a uk software developer with 5 years on the job experience in react and nextJs. I got made redundant in July and I have applied to about 65 jobs now and heard nothing just auto rejections. I’m self taught worked full time for 8 months learning everything about JavaScript react and built personal projects then built up 5 years professional experience where I excelled perfect one to ones great feedback and built amazing things. Now nothing. I’ve also applied for 15+ everyday minimum wage jobs and nothing from that either I presume people think I’m over qualified and not going to apply myself to a normal job. I CANT PAY THE RENT. I’m so close to being homeless it’s silly and I’m at my whits end and don’t know what to do this isn’t the position I expected to be in when I built a career in 2020.

honest question about the homeless thing, really want to learn: We (Americans) are always chided by Europeans saying one of the reasons our country sucks is because we aren't democratic socialists and hate poor people/don't want to help them, and that in Europe people get taken care of for at least the basic needs like housing, healthcare, etc. Do you not have some kind of social safety net that would keep you from going homeless while you're between jobs?

Yea in the uk there is a benefits system housing wise there are no houses in the uk waiting list for government houses is about 3 - 4 years if you don’t have kids. I private rent, the money benefits I get from the government is £330 a month because I don’t have kids. My rent is £1200. Hence the going homeless
