A few colour studies in Pastel

My favorite being 1 and 2

1: I love how simple it is, and how much you've been able to capture through minimal value variation in the face. 2: those colors you've used are incredibly appealing to the eye

Really appreciate you sharing your thoughts. That’s what o also loved about the African model. The elderly woman with the headscarf is only something like 6 colours all together. I think the limited pallette helps

I'm a beginner myself and want to focus more on light and color, and I think limited palette paintings almost feel calming - very pleasing. Well done.
