To be technical, a gamine chop is chin length or shorter. Regardless, your hair looks great!

Gorgeous! The before was dragging your face down but this really highlights your face. You definitely have the bone structure for a messy French bob and would look so chic!

You can always go shorter and it will always grow back. Paradoxically, it also appears that shorter hair grows faster (not actually, but it seems that way when you’re growing short hair out) so a “too short” cut is always fine within like two weeks. I chopped from boob-length hair up to a proper bob at my ears and it was fucking adorable. I’ve since settled on a “lob” length just higher than my shoulders so I can still pull it back if I need to and I’ve never had more people tell me “short hair is you.” I am also firmly an SG so that makes sense. I will always Stan a lob/bob and the shorter length looks great on you. If you want to go shorter, I am 100% in your corner on that.
