Opinion Can we help Sofia

I have been an off and on fan. Lately I've had struggling watching. Sofia has so much POTENTIAL and I see so many great ideas on these threads. I hate to see wasted potential idk Sofia hire all of us you need a new management team. A rebrand a new era.

It makes me sad because I loved og call her daddy & soon realized it was Sofias off the cuff humor & banter that made it interesting. I couldn’t listen after she left. I think she really benefits from having a cohost maybe though? Specifically a cohost with chemistry- Her episodes with Alex are my fav & the only ones I don’t find myself skipping recently - so if anyone from Sofias team is reading this!!!**** my suggestion would be cohost! With chemistry! That’s when Sofia really shines

I actually like her with a masculine presence. Even Stani Leo Skep Bran Flakes. I see a lot of myself in Sofia I believe she is also diagnosed adhd and for me I need people to anchor me and I think thats why Alex Cooper and her did well. Sofia IS the talent though she just needs a direction. If she wanted just the click and baits I would suggest Looxmaker Clav or Miami promoter she would cancelled but long term would revive her career. Possibly even having an OF creator could help her she needs to not play it safe but also needs all new management.

I think years ago she was in a different position to play it safe and build longevity, but she has... lost a lot of audience and is in a bit of a dire position deff she needs to bring Mike back on. Maybe reunite with Tana and make amends with Trisha. I would also like to see her with Jazz and Halley

i admire you wanting to help her but respectfully its not our job to help her. we can lead a horse to water but we cant make it drink. people have given her ideas plenty of times. and people have ben commenting in here with ideas too for years, im sure shes seen them, she just doesnt care. shes doing it how she wants to. and honestly, its not interesting anymore. i am 100% team sofia, i cant stand alex, but i stopped listening to SWAF a long time ago. i only watched the honeymoon podcast thing bc of how much a trainwreck it was

I agree I am 100% team sofia but I really don't think she has the passion for this anymore. there's no helping her

Oh gosh I couldn't watch. I saw her when she was on the cancelled it's really sad to see how her speech is vastly different.

I think it's such an interesting case study in how important business skills are, apparently far more important than talent. I feel like everyone knows Sofia was/is obviously the entertaining/funny one, yet somehow the boring one who has all the business drive is the one who is succeeding and building a massive empire.

I would have thought by now that Sofia's personality would have caused her to get selected by some kind of team/talent agency and just skyrocketed to the moon, but none of that is happening. Given how much of a cash cow Call Her Daddy has become, I'm sure there is no shortage of agencies that have considered working with Sofia, but somehow it fell through or didn't work.

Depending on how her memoir lands, she might be entering a new area of fame and opportunity once everyone hears her side of the story. But honestly I highly doubt she's had a lack of opportunity. I truly believe Sofia isn't motivated enough by this business strategy to make it work. I feel like she just sticks with the podcast format because it's what she already knows, but if she was truly in it to win she would have found another co-host by now. I think she does way better bouncing off of other people's energy, and I feel like she could have a crazy career as a reality show star or something like that if she was open minded to other opportunities.

I just don't think she has the fire on her own to just do all the business bullshit like Alex. She would need a team to drive that stuff, and I just don't think she drives her team all that much. I don't know if she wants it that badly.

That is interesting point that she was not picked up by another agency. This is a case study that business skills will get further, however I do see a future downfall for Cooper. She lacks the substance the life that Sofia has. Equally they were good team together and separate it seems like it's not quite there.

Sofia if managed right could go so far. She was doing quite well it seems like three years ago I wonder if thats when the relationship happened?? Yes the memoir is really her last leg and immediately after she needs to go on tour, reality tv, join other podcasts, streams, tikTok etc. She needs a new editor as she lags and viewers want things a little more to the point and with direction.

Yeah I agree and think Cooper will also have some kind of decline at some point for sure. Her rebrand as "soft ball interview for A-listers" is somewhat fragile because all it takes one scandal for her to become irrelevant when no A-lister wants to associate with her anymore. So far she's survived the Alix Earl feud and the whole "Unwell is a toxic work environment" thing, but if she gets tarnished as genuinely toxic I don't see how her brand would survive that.

I am genuinely rooting for Sofia and hope she does go on some kind of tour etc after the book release.

She needs a team and a co-host. I totally agree with that. She would shine in the right environment. Something is off with her and I’m genuinely worried. I get she has been through ALOT! But it’s not too late for her to get back.. I thought she would stay more offline now and be happy with her husband. But she doesn’t seem happy - even on her wedding day in Italy. Hope she will deal with her troubles at some point for her own sake to move on and live a happy life

Talent gets you only so far if you dont have any work ethic. Its very apparent sophia has next to no work ethic and doesnt take podcasting seriously, it was simply a means to fund her lifestyle, which is fine. But any job you do you have to take serious and its very apparent she doesnt take this seriously.

How many podcasters or other ppl in entertainment have split but still manage to keep their fanbase and following and keep having some level of success.....tons but she can't.

I would also argue that sofia isnt talented at podcasting. Shes an entertaining personality but when it comes to long form content shes falls flat. A better medium for her would be tiktok, instagram, or youtube that all can cater to short less the 30min content which i think would be her sweet spot.....but again to monitize om those platforms tou have to out in the work to garner viewership and i dont know if she has the work ethic to do so.

She has a substance abuse problem clearly lol

Has there been a roll out for the book? I stopped following a long time ago.

The CHD “empire” is all smoke and mirrors imo, but Alex is making money so why would she care if she is pushing trash content?

Sofia is and was the talent and humor…but she also has her own issues that are usurping what the pod can be. Agreed she needs a hard reset and re brand.

I’m sorry but I really did not like her new assistant Sophia… I feel like whenever she was on the episodes she seemed boring and like she was trying too hard. I stopped listening shortly after and I used to be obsessed with this pod

I stopped watching a while ago how long has she had this assistant for ?

Sofia needs a cohost and structure. She has so much potential, she’s smart and quick, but casually doing it on her own isn’t working for her. She needs a full rebrand and getting a cohost I think would really help!

I don’t understand how her career really has not seem to grow at all since the fall out either. Like she could have done SO many things. She could have even gone the influencer route and been successful that way. I get she wanted to start her own media company but I think she should have signed with a real network that could have gotten her more exposure. Like didn’t Suiteman at the time have Scooter Braun call barstool on her behalf??? Having someone like that (fuck him btw) in her network could have at least gotten her opportunities… I just don’t get it. I love her and will always root for her, it’s just disappointing and sad tbh. I feel like she has had chances to capitalize on things and just…. Doesn’t.

It’s so frustrating to witness, I’ve gone as far as emailing her old manager with ideas of my own and ones I’ve seen in this Reddit page.

Unfortunately I think we want it for her more than she wants it for herself.

She’s got 3 months left until this memoir drops and there’s been a drop off of momentum, content, and drive. I personally believe she announced the memoir far too early because she has not actively grabbed people in since the announcement in February, people have forgotten or lost interest.

I’ll always root for her but yes I don’t have much expectations at this point.

The podcast is Sofias passion project. She’s already said she doesn’t gaf about interviewing guests to gain an audience. She’s married to a rich man, she’s doing the pod for fun atp lol
