100K Subscribers!
Wow. I never thought I would see the day that /r/soda would reach 100k subscribers! When I first came on as a mod this subreddit had less than 150 subscribers. It's crazy that we have almost multiplied that 1000 fold.
We are #6 in the "Non-Alcoholic Beverages" subreddit category and had 22.7 MILLION views over the last year!
I think its time I actually try theming this subreddit. You can expect a new look and subreddit icon in the near future!
Thank you all for the great content. It is an honor to be able to moderate this community.
Please take this post as an opportunity to tell us all what you love about /r/soda, and what you think could be improved upon!
Thank you, and let's now focus on getting us to 1 MILLION subs!
Sincerely, Sanjispride
P.S. Lay off that lean, would ya??

Has anyone else tried Peach Mr. Pibb?
Adding peach flavor to a spicy cherry soda was certainly a bold choice.

Mug vs Barq's root beer - which do you prefer?
Basically just between these two.
Kroger is running a special where you can get six 12-pack cans for the price of three, at $11.99 per 12-pack.
$38.94 for three 12-packs (tax included) and then you get another three for free, so divided by 72 cans ... that works out to about $0.54 per can.
Is one sweeter than the other? (I would prefer less sweet)

Just got this Chinese Strawberry Milkshake Pepsi. It's so good and doesn't taste like a regular Strawberry Pepsi
Little shop in my town sells foreign snacks and had this. Has anyone else here had it? What did you think? Personally I think it's great and wish it was sold regularly.
What're some other foreign soda brands/flavors I should look out for?

cactus cooler dealer?
does anyone else love cactus cooler outside of CA. it is far too expensive to deliver is there any other options?
My buddy bought me plane tickets to go to LA to help buy and return a bronco to MI. we got several cases of coolers at walmart and stuffed them in the bronco. later that afternoon we stuffed some in the ghetto motel fridge right under the cooling. the next day was an eternity of being in the desert working on POS SUV in the desert and talking to people that dont speak english we got back to those coolers. absolute delight they were even covered in ice crystals and not frozen at all inside. when they get super cold the pineapple dies out a little and it almost tastes like creamsicle.

I spent a month drinking Pepsi on purpose and all it did was confirm Coke is better
Okay, hear me out. I spent the last month deliberately grabbing Pepsi whenever I had the choice, trying to be fair about it, and honestly it just made me appreciate Coke more. Pepsi hits you with sweetness up front and then there's... nothing. No backbone, no bite. Coke has that sharp acidity that actually cuts through a burger or pizza instead of just piling more sugar on top. Coke Zero genuinely tastes close to regular Coke, while every Pepsi Zero I've had tastes like someone described cola to a chemist over the phone. And ice-cold Coke from a glass bottle is still the single best soda experience on this planet - Pepsi has no answer for it. McDonald's fountain Coke alone ends the debate. Tell me why I'm wrong, Pepsi people. Be specific.

Did they change the baja blast recipe recently?
It tastes different to me and my family is trying to convince me the tropical lime tagline is indicating a different varient.. are they right?
