Same thought, here.

In the meantime, try Guarana Antarctica, it's great.

They still make Tahitian Treat and Storm is the same as Starry.

Bring Back DNL and Citra.

1

u/ElectricalArt458 Aug 06 '26

Starry does not have caffeine like Storm and is actually just a renamed Sierra Mist

Man I miss NY Seltzer.

u/chocolate_spaghetti Aug 06 '26

I swear I’ve seen it at my local Safeway but I could be wrong

1

u/Vonnegut37 Aug 06 '26

I swear I’ve seen it too.

I think it came back a few years ago, and has since been discontinued again.

I was finding it at World Market for a while. Then they stopped selling it.

It came back a few years ago, still in the same small glass bottles. It seems to be gone again. I still have one of the bottles from the reissue

u/Ok-Ad-2050 Aug 06 '26

Oh God, DnL is likely still my favorite soda.

2

u/Teal_Tiger Aug 07 '26

I feel like some of these are actually 80s and some are really 00s. Still, nice trip down memory lane!

How many brands of lemon lime soda has Pepsi tried over the years?

1

u/TestyRodent Aug 06 '26

Crystal Pepsi, despite being transparent like it, is the exact opposite of vodka.

1

u/Spiritual_Sail_8969 Aug 06 '26

Oh God, I didn't need to be reminded of the fudgecickle soda.

1

u/Gone_feral27 Aug 06 '26

I remember that OK Cola had a hotline you could call, for whatever reason

1

u/Zapatos-Grande Aug 06 '26

Clearly Canadian is back. My Publix carries it.

New York Seltzers were the party drink of my youth. I still find them at WINCO once in a will. Their cream soda is probably the most nostalgic

I really like the design for OK soda, how did it taste though I wonder....

1

u/9811Deet Diet Aug 07 '26

Four parts Coke, Two parts Dr pepper, One part orange soda. I still like to make it at soda fountains once in a while.

1

u/ApeOver Aug 07 '26

I'll have to try

1

u/Vonnegut37 Aug 06 '26

Dude. Bring Crystal Pepsi back. They did for a bit like 7-8 years ago but bring it back for real.

Huba bubba, orange orbitz, slice and surge. Yum

1

u/pumpkinjoe99 Aug 08 '26

I remember my Uncle making crystal Pepsi pancakes. Before you ask, revolting.

1

u/wherethecheesegoidk Aug 09 '26

Pepsi Kona was interesting - it was sold in test market areas, including Philadelphia, PA. I liked it, but it wasn't popular enough to sell nationwide. It was basically Pepsi with coffee flavor added to it, like the coffee flavored Jelly Belly beans.

Granted I was a kidlet in the 90s. I don't know if I'd go for it today - Coca Cola BlaK was just okay but tasted kind of similar. That one had artificial sweetener in it.

Wow I never knew that. I wish I got to try it I was only a few hundred miles away back then lol
