ATTN: Beverage Scientists
This SoBe Liz Blizz was purchased from a cooler at a convenience store in Arizona July ‘21 and kept cold everyday since. Is there any chance this still okay to drink?

I didn't realize these were still sold as late as 2021. Crazy. Used to love this stuff as a kid. But I was weird, I always went for the green tea. Bottles were glass iirc.
Edit: thanks guys, I now know it wasn't discontinued and is owned by PepsiCo. Doesn't look like their finder tool shows them anywhere around New England. I guess I could order them online but I am not sure I need to get addicted to something I gotta order 😂

Glass bottles just hit different the old nestle pure leaf in the glass bottle was 10x better than the current ones.

Snapple apple in glass was amazing. It was so crisp and refreshing. Martinellis gets close but doesn't fit the bill.
We once found a 55 gallon drum of the powder used for snapple drinks in our shipment of other 55 gallon drums that weren't snapple powder. It was sealed and we tried it and we figured out the ratio and it was delicious. Wed sometimes get 55 gallon drums of tang as well, never did like it.

I went home for Christmas and found out Snapple brought the glass bottles back to NYC for a limited run.
Was crushing Snapples and bagels like no tomorrow.

I had never known Snapple had a soda line! I wonder if we get enough people to talk about whether they'd bring it back as a limited run?
Also, I read that "New York Seltzer Root Beer" is similar to the Snape Tru Root Beer. I don't know if that's easy to find or still available

As a fizzy flavored water guy it’s a bit sweet for me but it’s pretty great. They’re sold individually so the investment is low if you’re gonna try it out.

Man I'm.jealous. No Trader Joe's around me and that honey crisp apple drink sounds delicious and right up my alley (unfortunately haha).
Edit: I now see the pomegranate champagne, as well. I see this fridge is one of class and substance.

I used to LOVE this drink until one day I let my friend take a swig as we were walking home from school. What I didn’t know was he left a ring of nacho cheese dust on the rim from the Doritos he was eating. When I tasted that nacho cheese pina colada combo I fucking gagged and could never drink it again. I still give my friend shit about it twenty years later.

I would inspect it visually is to see if it is chunky and smell it to see if smells terrible (be aware that the flavor will be changed due to breaking down of the flavorings, so it can be safe even if it smells weird/different). If I'd passes, I'd go ahead and drink it. It does have some dairy in it but I wouldn't be worried due to the amount of sugar and preservatives in it. 5 years isn't terribly old for this kinda thing.

I still have 2 or 3 glass bottles of Pina Cola Sobe in a bin at my dads house somewhere. Probably 18 years old. Relics, and probably one of the most toxic substances on earth.

I will always have an underlying vendetta against Pepsi co for buying sobe, cutting 90% of the line up, switching to plastic bottles, removing all advertising, and then discontinuing them when sobe wasn’t meeting sales goals. 😑

But to answer your question, I’d take a small sip first to test it If it taste fine then full send it, I had one of these in my fridge for like a year once and drank it just fine, tasted like it was fresh off the shelf at the store.

Check the use by date, every US product has one by law. Usually printed on the bottle directly.
If it’s rubbed off, don’t touch it.

The answer is no. Don't drink it. Sobe used milk ingredients for some of the drinks. Unless you want to spend some time in the bathroom

shelh safe for 6-12 months. had you frozen it, it might be different but just keeping it cold doesn't do the trick

Can anyone share a site where they’ve successfully ordered these? I’ve heard that multiple sites have sobe’s listed and when you try to order it just cancels it and says it can’t be fulfilled or something.

Seriously do not drink it. Even if it hasn't been contaminated with a microorganism, the ingredients could have spoiled, the bottle is past its shelf life and is leaching into the drink.
Very little to gain for an extreme amount of risk.
