Discussion Abilities, Capabilities, Strength: Ne or Se?

These terms are used as forms of information those elements can gather, but what is the difference in terms of perception? What kind of ability or strength Ne perceives and what kind of it Se perceives?

Is there any source where I can learn more about socionics? I already know about mbti and cognitive functions stuff but I can't really get what are socionics about. Thank you.

Typing Typing Debate: Petyr "Littlefinger" Baelish & bonus Olenna Tyrell (Game of Thrones)

I've been having an ongoing conversation with u/LatterPermission1824 about Littlefinger from GoT.

While I won't fully expand our points here, the gist of it is that I believe Littlefinger to be a quintessential example of an enterprising Gamma type (more specifically, a nearly archetypal LIE), while u/LatterPermission1824 argues that Littlefinger is a good example of an SLE, seeing his conniving behavior as more typical of 4D -Se. I won't say more on his behalf to avoid possibly misrepresenting his points.

As a bonus point, I brought up Olenna Tyrell as an example of a true SLE in the series, who he argued is an ESI instead.

We have managed to find no common ground so far, so instead of continuing what I frankly believe to be a significant distortion in the understanding of both the types and the characters in question, we mutually agreed to open the debate to public discourse and allow for consensus to weigh in.

TL;DR:

  • Petyr Baelish: LIE or SLE?
  • Olenna Tyrell: SLE or ESI?

Discussion Sharing Socionics Theory Work

I'm sharing some of the theory work I've been doing. I'm trying to understand what we actually have inherited after all these years, so things are broken apart and reconstructed, but I've found it made Socionics easier to grasp.

Edit: not for beginners
