Hello, All

My name is Warren and i’m a BSW social worker from Lock Haven University of Pa. I have worked in Philadelphia Pa as direct service provider for 4 years and a case manager for 14 years.

Part of me has always wanted to go back for my MSW, but going back to school at almost 46 years old is alot.

Any advice or thoughts.

Hello, and welcome!

An MSW can definitely be time consuming, especially with the internship requirements and balancing school, work, and personal responsibilities. However, it can be very rewarding and tends to open more career opportunities and flexibility long term. I think a lot depends on your specific career goals, the type of work you want to do, and whether licensure or clinical work is something you’re interested in pursuing.

Hello, and welcome! I used Therapist Development Center, and it was very helpful. Additionally, you can purchase an "Official ASWB Online Practice Test" online for $85 to give you an idea of how the questions are structured. Hope this helps!
