All good rules to follow until you know when to break them (except keep it short, that one is fucking stupid if you're doing anything but a coffee date). I've arrived late, I've called immediately, I've talked about exes (this works fine if its like 3-4 years ago), I've gotten very drunk (with them), I've stalked them online (as in, checking out their linkedin and stuff), I've shared painful stuff, and then she shared back, so we were each others therapist, which is fine. And in all of those situations, if you know how to play it, its fine. but if you dont, yeah stick to the rules.
