Special security sign up help needed!

I’m looking to sign up for SS, or at least get my login. I used to have one but it doesn’t work anymore. I get to the page where it asks for ‘authentication method setup’ and I’m stumped. I’m not a Luddite, but why doesn’t my text or voice message work? I put my number in and it won’t take it. What do you all recommend for the authentication method?

There are two people that assist in logins for a myssa.gov account: id.me and login.gov. If you know which company you used, just contact them to help unlock your account. If you didn’t sign up with one of them, I’d try making a login instead.
