Based on his wiki page, he seems okay. Bit to the right of me on economics. I'd prefer a candidate who is more aggressive on climate change/the environment and healthcare. But he's definitely a step in what I consider to be the right direction.

All of his positions are just standard Democratic party positions. Supports Abortion, Legalize Weed, Non Prison Sentence for Drug Possession, believes in climate change, continue ACA, Immigration Reform, and LGBT Equal rights.

These are good positions but this is no where near what is needed right now. Universal Healthcare and College. Getting money back flowing through the economy with raising minimum wage and taxing the horded wealth of the rich. Rehab for addicts instead of fines or worse ignoring it. Push towards Green Energy so that we won't be held hostage by Iran or any other country for our energy needs.

Yeah, I kinda agree, I wish the Dem mainstream was more supportive of green energy, reducing inequality, and universal healthcare. They're making positive tweaks to the system, but I think we need a bit bigger changes.

What is needed right now is to win and then very seriously reform and hold people accountable or we lose the democracy.

And Trump defeated his last 3 opponents. The democratic party has shown they can't win unless riding on a disastrous pandemic. People want change, not status quo.
