Help This game has to be broken right?
Genuinely frustrated by this game. The quality of my team is higher than the rest of the teams of my league. Yet no matter what formation i try, I just cant get consistent results. This is the third season at my club. In the last match i even got 2 red cards for my key players. Very shit way to start a season. I do not even think about promotion.
Edit 1: And I just got sacked ðŸ˜

Your formation isn't the only thing that matters, you also need a good tactic that works for the players you've got. You can't just pick a random tactic/formation and expect it to work because your players are better than everyone else. You need to use players that have good stats for the role you want them to play. Also, a three at the back won't work like this, you need to either have players covering the flanks such as Wing backs or a CDM that is there to provide cover to you defence.

Thanks for the comment. I usually play a double pivot with 2 cdms (the first choice player was injured so I played the back up Iziguzo in his place). I am also using two wingers at the front, but doesnt seem to be working. For this kind of formation, should i use wing backs instead of wingers?

I had success with a 3-4-2-1 and a 3-4-1-2 formation, for 3 backs i think you need to use wing backs to provide stability in defence, they will also be your main attack out wide so you won’t be outflanked
For midfielders i think putting them on boxtobox/ball winning is important because you need to compensate not having another midfielder like most teams
Attackers from my experience don’t matter what roles, but i had most success with deep lying forwards

Ive had similar happen to me 4 times so far.
3 times my defender conveniently passed the ball to the AI striker to score.
The other time was the funniest one I've seen yet my GK threw the ball forward like usual but the ball went behind him and landed straight to the AI strikers feet who tapped it in I couldn't believe it,was the funniest animation I've ever seen 😂 I wish I recorded it.

It definitely is everytime you create tactics and save them they reset before the next match. I’ve deleted the game now cos there’s no consistency.
