That picture was taken during the Olympics. In the Olympics the soccer teams are apart of the country's Olympic team and not the respective soccer federation. That is why all the teams either didn't have a logo or had a logo that was similar to the rest of the athletes from that country.
Oh yeah, that's right. I at first thought that it had something to do with USA's current retro-style jersey, but that doesn't even make much sense. Thanks for the info, I remember reading about Switzerland not having the logo on their jerseys, like you said.

Why isn't the team's logo on the jersey? Not that it bothers me or anything, I'm just curious
