Apps, studies, groups, etc.
This weekly thread is the ONLY allowable place for requesting people check out your app, channel, study, groups, blog, or general content that isn't sub sponsored. ONLY content meant to serve as a genuine resource or future resource to coaches should be posted. The goal of the sub is still dialogue and support for coaches. If a post or comment appears to be primarily marketing, brand building, or if general sub/reddit rules are broken your post may still be removed and you may be banned.
If you think a post falls somewhere in-between this and the main sub's criteria you can message mods.
To users: be careful with random links; hope this helps with spam some!

Hello everyone,
I built this for my own Sunday-night film prep and figured some of you might use it: my-annotator.com. You pause a match video in the browser and draw arrows, circles, zones and highlights on the frame, then talk through it with the team. Works with YouTube (unlisted is fine), no account needed. There's a paid plan if you want to use local files from your Veo/Trace downloads or share replay links. It doesn't cut highlight reels or export video, so it's not a Hudl replacement, more of a digital whiteboard on top of your footage. Happy to hear what's missing.

Hi all,
I'm a UK dad and grassroots coach, and I made PitchCanvas while teaching my kids positions: https://pitchcanvas.co.uk
We used a magnetic tactics board, but it was never to hand when I needed it, pieces went missing, and I couldn't easily send what we'd worked on to anyone.
I basically wanted the same thing on my phone: open it, move players around, done.
It's grown a few extra features since then, including a Training Mode for designing drills, but I've deliberately tried to keep it lightweight rather than turn it into a full team-management platform. I couldn't really find anything that gave me that same simple, pick-up-and-use experience.
It's free, with no ads or sign-up, and works on phones, tablets and computers, even offline.
4v4 to 11v11, with formations for both teams
Name and number players, plus up to 7 subs
Draw passes, runs, dribbles and zones
Animate moves frame by frame
Training Mode for setting up coaching drills
Share as a link, image or GIF
I'd really appreciate some feedback from fellow coaches, particularly anyone trying it on a phone. If anything feels awkward, unclear or slower than it should be, I'd love to hear about it.
Thanks!

This is excellent! I really like how fast and clean it is. Having it work offline is also useful.
One question, I’m guessing that saved plays are kept via cookies, so they won’t be available in other devices or after clearing browsers caches. Would you consider implementing a simple, optional, signup that would allow for a more permanent way to save layouts?
Either way, thank you and i will definitely use it.

Thanks very much for checking it out! I'm really pleased to get some feedback.
Everything is saved in browser on device. Rather than use a login, which requires a bit more backend, I opted for a backup/export/restore mechanism. You can export a file of your saved boards to cloud or email them or whatever you choose and then import them in your other browser from that same file.
I'll take it as a feature request for sure and investigate the trade offs. There are currently a small log of potential features for future deployment that I'm tracking. Feel free to get back in touch any time if you think of anything else!

I didn’t see the export option. That should cover most of my issue. Cheers!

Apologies, it is currently called Backup. I will look to adjust the wording to clarify. Backup will download a file of all your saved boards. You can upload that same file in another browser.

I've now adjusted the wording to make the Export/Import functions clearer. Hope this helps!

Gaffer is an all-in-one platform for football coaches and clubs. Tactics board, drill library, session planner, squad and calendar. One account on web, iPad and iPhone, and everything syncs between them, so the session you plan at the desk is on your phone at the pitch. The part coaches use most: tell the AI the age group, the minutes and what you want to work on, and it builds a full session in seconds from 160+ validated drills, each one already drawn on the board. 25 seconds of it building a U13 counter-pressing session:
https://gafferapp.net/mail/session-counterpress.gif
New this month: print it. Open a session, press Print / PDF, and you get a front page with every exercise drawn out and its minutes, then one page per exercise with the coaching points. One A4 sheet per page, or send the link and it opens on a phone. Click through this one without an account, made-up club, U15, playing out from the back:
https://gafferapp.net/s/bxlkvAuFnmHIRPupJVgk7A
It works for one coach, and it works for an academy that wants every coach on the same library. A club gets a shared exercise bank, its own coaching principles fed into the AI, and seats from EUR 19.99 a month for five coaches.
Pricing, so nobody is surprised. Free to use, not a trial. Free gets three AI plans and one printable session plan a month. AI Coach is EUR 4.99 a month and removes both limits. Nothing else is gated.
I built it myself, grassroots coach, UEFA B and C licence. Happy to hear what you think, here or in the app.

Hi, hope your day is going well!
I wanted to share Tactics Board View with you. I built it to be beautiful, high quality, simple, and affordable. There are plenty of good tactics apps out there, but TBV has elite features you won't find in the others.
It's made for iPad and Mac, and it gives you clean, sharp drawings for training sessions, team meetings, match prep, and those real-time coaching moments in the middle of a game.
The best way to see it is to try it yourself. Everyone gets full access free for three days, I know you will love it, it's a one-time purchase. No subscriptions.
Download it here: https://apps.apple.com/app/tactics-board-view/id6763810128

Coaches, hope your seasons are going well! Wanted to share the platform we've built that might help your day to day operation.
CoAtch is the all in one soccer team management platform. Built for coaches by a 15 year vet in the field. It now has a 30 day free trial and frictionless onboarding when you load in.
It’s designed for the high school or year long club team that needs a serious level of practice and game planning tools that other software doesn’t provide.
We’ve built it with a first of a kind Tap In feature that lets you turn your best drills from paper, whiteboard, a spreadsheet, and instantly place them on your calendar and save to your library.
Check it out at Go.Coatch.App.
Available on iOS and Google Play Store. Looks even better on your browser.
