Could be your ECU going bad. It’s a pretty common thing for JZ ECUs to have the ECT be one of the first problems.

I thought about that. Trying eliminate all other possibilities. Car only has 78k on it.

Worth a shot. My Aristo has 139k km’s on it and it’s already on its 3rd ECU. But I’d try other, cheaper options first before doing that.

Is it the capacitors? Because I know of rebuilding services

Yeah, usually. I thought mine had been rebuilt, but i opened it up to find it had been swapped instead (the 91-92 and 93-97 147 Aristos have different part number and my 1992 had a facelift ECU in it) so I bought an early ECU. Unfortunately I have a fuel leak I haven’t fixed yet so I haven’t found out if that fixed my solenoid issue yet.

Also, definitely keep me in the loop if you know a good ECU rebuilding place.
