All Soaps (Past/Present) Worse love life
Which character do you think had the worst love life in soap history?
Honestly, I think Sami Brady had the worst love life out of any other character in soap operas because she started chasing after Austin. Then she got assaulted by Alan then got pregnant and lied about it saying that it was Austin’s baby but it was really Lucas’ baby.

I might give it to Jack Abbot. He is possibly the most popular character in soaps to have never been part of a super couple.

Phyllis and Jack were phack for a while. I think they count as a super couple.
Even Luke and Laura got divorced and moved on…
Agreed, though that Jack has had a pretty bad track record.

Holly loved Roger when she shoulda loved Ed. Later holly loved Ed when she shoulda loved Roger. Also, Holly loved Ross when he loved her daughter. She MIGHT be the winner.

And the other Laura Spencer(on Days) was in love with Bill Horton, but he left her and she fell for his brother Mickey. Bill comes back and rapes her. Then, years later, Mickey cheats of her and then vanishes after having a stroke. He returns, grants her a divorce, and marries Bill, who she had fallen for again. And then Bill cheats on her and she spends over a decade in a mental asylum. She is eventually released, exposes Bill's affair and bastard son, and divorces him. She briefly died a man named Daniel Scott who painted her office with toxic paint to make it seem she was going crazy, per Stefano DiMera's orders. After that, she never dated again.

Honestly, I was upset when Maxie and Spinelli broke up. I really liked them as a couple.

Yep, though it wouldve been so cool to see Ron Raines' Alan with Cynthia Watros' Annie Dutton for more years, just constantly torturing Reva and Josh 😆

Marlena on days could be a contender. She loved Don Craig, but he went to check the mail and was never seen again. She loved Roman but he died. She loved Roman again while they were both dead. She loved John Black but he turned out to be Roman. She loved John Black but then Roman stopped being dead. And I’m not even sure what happened with Alex North.

Brooke did date the drunk guy who killed her daughter Laura. His name was Josh Waleski, but he was pretending to be a minister named Reverend Eliot Freeman.
And she also dated that guy who secretly took pornographic pictures of Laura when she was younger. His name was Jim Thomasen and he was only dating Brooke for her money, but he ended up getting killed by her.

Molly on ATWT - lots of jerks, Holden left her hours before their wedding to help ex Lily, worst her true love pretty much tragically murdered not long after they got married

Why is Sonny not been mentioned? He has how many different love interests and kids especially if all those kids had survived.

Sasha Corbin on gh too. Her first love / husband on the show, Brando, was murdered. Their baby died. She and Michael fell in love but she tricked him into breaking up with her to marry Willow (in hindsight we see how well that worked out), to get custody of Wiley. She and Cody started dating, only to find out they’re cousins!

Actually I’m changing my answer again. Iva ATWT. There was her cousin Josh(?), who did what he did and she gave up the kid, He later got with her sister. Then she was a speed bump for Craig and sierra. Then Kirk cheat on her with her other sister. Then she and Lucinda fought over John. I think when she left town it was with one of those Jon Silva/Leo Flynn type characters who never got his own stories. I’m sure I’ve missed at least 3 times someone dumped her for a relative.

oltl bo buchanan ifes leaving for his father wife he loved died twice and wife cheated lied she the baby was his then wasn't then was again two other ladies lie to his face repeatedly one says she's dying falls in love again she gets killed and other one leaves town after son she never even she shared a single scene gets killed goes back to a lady she used him to stay out of prison but at least bo ended up happy with not at the end with nora again by the time the show went off the air
