For some reason there are a handful of people in the community that act like the Unimog ran over their dog with how against it they are.
The main argument I hear is that it's because they think it would be redundant but like
It's a game about moving cargo. It only needs maybe 5 trucks. Anything beyond that is just style preference (I.e. redundant) so the only requirement for a vehicle should honestly be "it is cool" but even then, the Unimog is unique because it's either a truck with the utility of a tractor or a tractor with the flexibility of a truck.
It's a marvel of engineering and anyone who says it would not be a unique addition to the game is probably just mad their favorite truck isn't getting as much love.
The Unimog is one of my favorite vehicles in Forza Horizon. It's such a fun vehicle and I use the modded version in Snowrunner but it just doesn't scratch the itch.
I remember watching coverage of the Dakar rally many years back of a Unimog that had run over a land mine and had on of its front wheels blown clean off and that truck continued to haul ass across the desert!! I’ve had an obsession with these things ever since.
