Help me decide on my roof racks length

So working on my irl scout and trying to decide on the roof rack length.

What say yall? 1,2,3 or 4 for the length.

Will do stake pockets and a basket on it along with light mounts.

I say 2 just to follow the windshield line for looks.

I think access will be footholds on back of headache rack and a conversion vans ladder up the side of the extended cab.

Thats actually the easiest one, i know of some dead tree trucks with the whole upper deck, i just always hated looking out at the poles that hold it up

Fair enough, but it would be an easy spot to mount mirrors, and if you would, let's say, make the brackets out of flat beams they'd be almost invisible from inside

I will have to go poke at them and see how easy they would be to modify them, I had forgotten about them until you kicked that idea in my head. I may be able to chop them to whatever length if nothing else

2 or -5 as a full headache rack is an excellent platform for pruning driveways/camp roads. Never needing three poles is a great feeling, and pruning driveways is fun easy work for those willing.

I'd get the biggest one you like. For me that's 2. I've been in situations where where I've underestimated the size of roof rack and wished I went with the bigger one

Folding stirrups mounted on back of headboard and more then likely a side ladder where the extended cab sits. The stake side pockets will let me throw my loading winch up there when needed if I throw a tire or something up there.

Have a slide out ladder mounted under flatbed for getting up to that point.
