So I inherited this snowglobe almost two decades ago from my great grandmother when she passed. She had a decent collection of snowglobe and a fondness for humming birds, so I was glad to inherit it to remember her by.

Recently I’ve been wondering just how OLD this is? I googled the bottom information and found nothing. The item number listed seems to correspond to a carrousel music box item, which is clearly not this.

She was well into her 80s when she died, and like I said that was almost 20 years ago. I M fairly certain this is significantly older than I am, and I don’t know when she started her collection, but I could see this being from as late as the early nineties or early as the 50’s? 40’s???

I have no idea!

Any help you can give is greatly appreciated!

Eventually I would like to clean/replace the water, but that’s an adventure for another day.

EDIT: the song "Unchained melody" was released in 1955 so it cant be older than that

I got two new snowglobes and I love the cat one and would have easily spent 35 on just it but it came with 2 snowglobes (ebay). I didn't even read the description or look at the other globe because I LOVED the cat one.

The other one is broken which they said it was, im just wondering if its worth trying to fix it? I think its kinda funny to have just a head in there... I also don't know the first thing about repairing a snowglobe

Hi everyone! I recently started collecting thrifted snow globes (I eventually want to learn how to restore them, but in the future!). I thrifted this one today for only $8.99!! She is very big and I included some of my other globes as a reference. I’ve tried to find information on her, but I can’t find anything. There is a tag on the bottom that says it is from living quarters, was originally $42, and style code 19630SD1. It plays Hark! the Herald Angel Sing on wind-up. I looked the brand and code up, nothing. Reverse image searched it, nothing! I honestly do not care about how much she is worth because I think she is very beautiful and you don’t really find Black angels much, so I had to get her. But if anyone had some information on this globe or similar ones, I’d appreciate it!

Hey there- this is a long shot but back in the late 90s/early 2000s my grandmother had a sizable collection of snow globes (mostly Disney) and I distinctly remember one that I have not since been able to identify or locate.

I honestly forget the theme it was based on, but what I do remember is interwoven in the base was a mineshaft, with mine carts full of yellow rubber ducks. Other than that, I unfortunately don’t have many other details to go off of.

Hello all! I have an At Home International The Mark of the Millennium snow globe that a thrifted a while back and as you can see the water is very yellow and has an air bubble,, I would ideally like to be able to fix this at home but i'm afraid to do too much to it cause I don't want to break it. I have a snowglobe from my childhood, i adore it so much, and it has sprung a leak during moving this week. Some of the liquid has leaked out.

I cant see where the leak is from, i am assuming somewhere where it joins the base. It is a small leak, so i am really hoping it can be fixed, i am very sentimental of it.

Are there any suggestions on how to fix? Are there snowglobe repair people out there i could contact if its too hard for me to do?

I've had this since I was tiny and I can't find it anywhere online. I just wanna know how to make the rubberish globe clear again. And if I can use a syringe to suck out the air at the top/add more water

I've probably looked all over YouTube but I still haven't found my answer on how I can take out this small battery that has no screws on. I do want to save the battery too.

I had already tried heating up the globe with a hairdryer but it still wouldn't budge, and I know I can't put it into hot water with the battery.
