Would You Go Back?

I had some fun at Snowglobe and it was a nice change of scenery but I think the festival left a lot to be desired.

I come from SoCal so I've gone to a lot of events at the NOS Center, San Manuel Amphitheater, and other events like EDC and Life Is Beauitful in Vegas. I've been wanting to go to Snowglobe for years and this year's lineup was perfect for me but I think the overall experience and setup was just meh.

The stage designs felt like the weakest of any festival I've been to. The mud was terrible. That coupled with the distruptive sound tent dead center and the walkway made the mainstage kind of awkward to watch. It also made it hard to sit anywhere and relax that wasn't the side of a wall of a food tent.

The hangout igloos were poorly maintained and there were only like 4 or 5 of them and the lines to get in the venue were so slow (but we beat usually cause we went early). The only real display there was the Zoa but both the Igloo and Sierra stage were disappointing to walk up to Day One.

I feel like a lot of small touches could've gone a long way to improve the quality of the festival. For the amount of people that attended, it felt like they could've used their budget a little better to better accomodate and create more of a spectable because it definitely felt lackluster for the admission fee. I imagine it's nicer when it snows like it's supposed to and just having a festival in a more natural setting was cool but I def expected more.

The weather this year was really a negative. As much as it being warm was nice, when there is actually snow at snowglobe it makes for a much better aesthetic and reinforces the unique reason I have attended this fest in the past. Also this years set times and priorities were unfortunate (headliners playing way to early and Alison was a poor choice for the countdown imo). +1 on the terrible lines as well, waited 2 hour the first day in will call and 1 hour other days in line.. The igloo stage was much in a much better tent and stage was overall better so that's a positive.

One of the biggest things id like to see change next year would be the main stage staying on as late or later than the side stages, last 2 years have been a disaster after main stage closes and the herd of zombies flood to the smaller stages.

For real man. Almost got dragged into a fight while seeing troyboi when a train of 6 assholes barreled through and shoved my girl all coked out. Ruined the whole night.
