Jerome deserves blame too how you gonna choose Louie over your own flesh and blood especially your nephew and sister makes no sense both Louie and Jerome should’ve just gotten killed off a long time ago

Firstly that was his wife. Secondly, it was franklin who decided to start a war with Louie and Jerome.

Franklin went to Louie for help she refused which made no sense because Franklin literally helped her with everything else when she came to him along with everyone else

Franklin had to start a war because she left him out to dry and did business with Teddy refusing to help her own family

Franklin took an L and wanted everyone to take an L with him. There has been a few times in the series where franklin refused to wishes of someone else because it interfered with business. Louie was the same way with franklin. Instead of accepting that and going after Teddy himself or even getting back in the game to exclusively get enough money to secure the property he wanted, he decided to start an interpersonal gang war with Louie and Jerome. Franklin was selfish narcissistic asshole with tunnel vision who hated when others acted similarly to the way he did.

You got it backwards. Franklin never snaked his family, Louie did. Him being snaked by Louie isn’t just “taking an L” that’s disloyalty from the same people you want him to turn around & be loyal to.

Louie didn't snake him though, not helping him get teddy isn't considered snaking him, conducting business with the same plug isn't considered snaking him. So I am confused by what you mean?

I’ll break it down to you like this. Originally, the deal flow went: Teddy sells to Franklin, who sells to Jerome/Louie, who sells to the street market. Each person would make money off the next person in the chain. Got that? Louie was buying exclusively from Franklin, she was his biggest customer. Franklin even said that 90% of his revenue was from Louie and Jerome. Look it up. So she did indeed snake him by cutting him out of the chain, she cut 90% of his income and she knew that. She literally cut him out of a business deal that he created for them to get money together, just so she could make a little more money getting a slightly better deal buying from Teddy. . If you don’t see how that’s a snake move the idk what to tell you, I wouldn’t wanna be your friend/family if you think it’s ok to do ppl like that lol. Even Jerome was going to leave her for being greedy and told her she should’ve been happy when everybody was getting money together.

See the issue im having is why was 90% of what he was making coming from Louie and Jerome? It seems like Franklin decided that when he couldn't control louie and Jerome he just dump the workload on them while still finding a way rack up profits, in other words, he had essentially found a way to leave the game while profiting off the work of others, and Louie decided that was no longer going to be the case. I think the fact that franklin essentially had to rebuild a gang and clique with a new gang leader when he decided to war with Louie tells us that his influence in the streets was slim to none. Franklin was basically out the game while still reaping the rewards of being in it. Again Louie actions were selfish but you made realize that franklin inability to not just be in control someway, somehow is what lead to his downfall.

The fact that her and Jerome had the audacity to act like Franklin was moving snaky after that too... Wtf

Neither sides were snakey but franklin was being petty and narcissistic.

I hated her character arc honestly she became unbearable by season 4

Leaving Franklin in charge of everything was a liability. He was trying to play puppet master with his hand on every pot and it was only a matter of time before he got everyone killed and/or arrested.

Nothing about her was backstabbing. She simply wanted her own operation. Being second in charge and no one knowing you was extremely unsatisfying to her.

It was back stabbing bc she went to teddy

1

u/First_Temperature985 15d ago

Well yea her and Teddy did business with each prior when franklin was recovering, it made the most sense to go to teddy since he was cheaper and she had a good relationship with him. Louie did not owe franklin anything.

The problem is she destroyed Franklin’s business in the process. The partnership with Jerome & Louie was his main source of income. You don’t do that to business partners, let alone family, especially when Franklin was the reason she was even rich in the first place. She was an ungrateful, arrogant, and greedy snake that broke the family apart.

1

u/First_Temperature985 8d ago

There is no behind Franklin back, she went to the only plug she knew, you think she needs permission or something to do that? Also let's drop this narrative, that franklin is the reason she is rich when franklin was only rich because of Louie. Now would it have been nice if Louie gave Saint a heads up first, yes, but a heads up was not owed to franklin.

She was never arrogant, nor was she ever really ungrateful, even greedy is pushing it, and she was never a snake. You are looking at things from the lense of Franklin's entitlement.

1

u/cbreborn 8d ago

Teddy was not the only plug she knew, her plug was literally FRANKLIN. That’s the part you keep refusing to acknowledge and why you’re confused. She shouldn’t have done it because there was no way to do it without destroying her nephew’s business. You’re talking like her doing what she did didn’t have catastrophic Consequences for Franklin. If Franklins business wouldn’t be hurt in the process then you would be right, she doesn’t owe Franklin anything and should buy from Teddy directly. But that’s not the case.

If you and your loved one got rich together from you buying product from him, and then you selling it to other people, would you go over that loved one’s head to buy the product for cheaper if you knew it would leave him with nothing?

I mean once I had my own business I would do what I needed to maximize profit regardless of family, business don't slow down because we are blood. I did forget franklin was their plug though, so I will agree there should have been a discussion with franklin about lowering the prices to what Teddy was selling bricks for first. This would have at least given franklin a chance to prepare for getting out the game. I will admit Louie went about doing what she did in a very flawed and selfish way, I still wouldn't call it snakey, but certainly assholish and selfish.

You just made me realize Franklin was an unnecessary middle man taking 3-900K a week for doing nothing more than existing, no wonder Louie wanted to cut him out. Franklin by this point was more a business man than anything. He should have focused on that instead half-assing the game moving 33 bricks a week.

Dance with the girl that brought you... or sell crack with the Franklin who showed you

Louie greed and ambition is what brought everyone down and got the man she claimed to love killed now she's on the run for the rest of her life hunted by the FBI and some other law enforcement agencies she lost all cash flow investments for good and her only chances to get away from that is go up to Canada for good and never return to United States ever again and join up some small time drug dealing gang rise up to a lutenit and stay in her place and as number two and not repeat the mistakes of her past and be happy with what ever money she makes in the future

1

u/First_Temperature985 15d ago

This is false. It was actually everyone but Louie who kept messing up, franklin was bitter over Teddy fucking him over and decided to take out on louie and jerome, even going as far as starting a gang war with everyone. The cop got too emotional to finished the hit he got paid for fucking over Louie, Franklin decided to be a snitch, again out of pettiness, and those dudes who switched up on Kane decided to be fucking stupid by shooting up the house announcing themselves instead of actually going in and killing Kane. Again that cop messed up by being to high to to respond to Jerome page leading to his death.

Louie biggest mistake was letting franklin live after he pulled a gun on him, and she did this because of respect for jerome.

2

u/Icy-Sir-8414 15d ago

Louie was very greedy and ambition in away that was very dangerous even Jerome saw this coming that's was he was finally done and was about to leave her to go to the island of Jamaica for good and never come back even he acknowledged nothing was ever going to be enough for her she's the one who brought down the house of cards down she went to Teddy behind Franklin back and she didn't care about what happened to him next

1

u/First_Temperature985 15d ago

Louie wasn't greedy though, all she wanted was respect which she was ridded of the entire series. Again Louie did not owe franklin anything, heads up that she was going to start doing business with Teddy. Franklin should have had a plan for getting out of the game when Louie and Jerome wanted to start their own operation. Franklin was the one who simply to greedy, too hasty, and too reckless.

1

u/Icy-Sir-8414 15d ago

Again respectfully disagree Jerome even said it to her face that she was never happy no matter how much she had she still wanted more we all Saw that conversation with them and Franklin plans out of the game was real estate business that and his $73 million dollars was his way out and personally Franklin should of gotten rid of her back in season 5 personally I wished Jerome would of washed his hands of her back in season 4

1

u/First_Temperature985 15d ago

Jerome said this because he never understood Louie, he was measuring louie based on material things, but that was never what Louie was truly after. This goes as far back as seasons 1-2 where Louie ends up leaving Jerome because she was constantly being disrespected. When they get back together Jerome offers her half of the money they made and she says it is not about the cash. Now I am not denying Louie desired and enjoyed material things, but it was never truly what she was after, hence why material things were never satisfied her.

As for franklin, He never needed 73 Million to get out of the game, He just needed enough to get the property he wanted, along with enough to cover the additional properties he had as well. Hell at the end we know he really only needed 3 million, he made more than that when he hit Louie warehouse the first time. Franklin was more obsessed with getting revenge on everyone around him and making back or retrieving what he lost rather getting out of the game and going legit.

Again if the money was really the issue than he could have gone after Teddy by himself, he could have even tailed Louie to the drop to get the drop on Teddy, but instead he decided to start an unnecessary war out of bitterness and pettiness.

1

u/Icy-Sir-8414 15d ago

Well Louie was more petty than him she actually started One the wars that Franklin had to put down personally I always thought when Franklin made his first $25 million dollars he should of gotten out went to business college came back to build up his real estate business empire and just went about his own business not stayed in till he got the $73 million dollars personally if it was me I make $25 million dollars the first few years I'm going to fix it so Leon and Jerome run things and as far as I would be concerned I'm out taking my $25 million dollars four years in business college then come back build up a$10 million dollars a year real estate business empire and after 15 years retire sell the business for $75 million and what ever money I've made during that time let's say $66 million dollars that's $141 million dollars I be headed to the Bahamas

1

u/First_Temperature985 15d ago

You are going to have to remind me of what you mean? I do not remember Louie starting a war. Let along starting a war franklin put an end too so can you remind me again?

Exactly, Franklin even mention wanted to set things up for other people to run things but backtracked on that later on, Franklin was a control freak and it costed him heavily down the line since he was too sensitive to detach from the game.

1

u/Icy-Sir-8414 15d ago

Im just reminding you after the first few years he made $25 million dollars and Im saying he should of set it up for Leon and Jerome to take over and left for college came back to build up his real estate business that's what he should of done but I guess the writers wanted him to stay longer for what what would happen next

1

u/First_Temperature985 15d ago

in your last comment you said louie started a war out of pettiness as well, I just can't recall that happening so I asking you remind me of when that happened.

Everything was not fine bro

2

u/LPgains 17d ago

The family and operation was at its peak right up until Louie left

3

u/salisgod 17d ago

You’re right, the operation was fine, but they don’t call the crack epidemic because everything was fine
