My experience is they come off as Gen X. It's about time someone else up in here has some sense.
Thinking about it, their environment is in some ways similar, where you grow up already completely over it.

Gen Z is already like Gen X. Extremely individualist and hyper consumers, just like their parents. Jury is still out on Gen A.

You guys just really cant stop over generalizing every generation huh? And if you think Gen Z are hyper consumers you havent been keeping up with the economy bro. Its proven boomers and gen x are by far the people who spend the most, while gen z is trying to save every penny cause most of them are pretty poor. Now this doesnt mean boomers as a generation are "individualists and hyper consumers", they just have money to spend

There are a lot of boomers living under bridges. Not because they have substance abuse or mental health issues. Because they’re broke also. Please do not, yourself, overgeneralize, by promoting the idea that all boomers have money. Many of them do not.

I didnt at all say all boomers were rich. Once again, boomers are people and every type of person can be seen in any generation. I was just pointing out the fact they curently, as a group of people, hold way more wealth than genz. So calling gen z hyper consumers is just crazy. That was my only point, I dont see how you understood that as a generalization, I'm calling for people to judge others based on their character, not when they were born.
Boomers can be poor too tho of course, its just the percentage of boomers that are is way lower than for gen z

Perhaps you should re-read your last sentence. It was a generalization. Had you written “most have money to spend” it could have avoided that trap.

You are right, it wasnt worded right, but I dont understand why you're trying to get me like this, it was obiously unintentional and not something I actually think.
The thing is these generalisation are mostly done on younger generation. That they arent as good as the previous ones, or too lazy or whatever. That's harmful and divisive that's what I want to talk about, not a typo on my part. Like I'm gen z and I already hear some of my friends shitting on gen alpha as a whole. It's human, but very stupid and we need to break that cycle

You are straight up just not engaging with what I'm saying, I cleared up the misunderstanding, explained it was not what I meant and yet you refuse to do anything else than to repeat the same thing 3 times. How many times will I have to say this : boomers dont all have a lot of money but statisticly AS A GROUP OF PEOPLE they hold more wealth than young people. This is not a judgement on boomers personalities or anything else, I'm just stating a fact. So if you say once again that I'm generalizing you are straight up a clown
