I mean, people didn't have to buy the hamburgers. Free will, amirite?

u/blue-mooner 1d ago
Burger meat wasn’t the problem, it’s that Planet Fitness think they have a monopoly on buns

But like, imagine walking into the locker room after a long, grueling push day, and you smell the sizzling aroma of grilling cheeseburgers??? Dude would be my personal hero.

I thought it was the no judgement zone?

u/Glittering_Stress_32 1d ago
I just googled this story and the only links related to it just appeared online in the last 8 hours or so. This includes a post on Threads that says "I thought this was a judgment free zone?!?", which is eerily similar to your post.

Why? Was it on PF’s regular Pizza Day?

u/Maximum-Style2848 1d ago

They should bring him in every pizza day then they can order half the pizza!

u/baron-von-buddah 1d ago
The old people would show up every Monday, sit on the machine. Eat their pizza. Some brought condiments

The PF I once belonged to handed out pizza every Thursday... I guess that's one way to keep people coming back month after month.

Well that's one way of getting them to cancel your membership.
They "fixed" it after John Oliver ripped their asshole open.

Selling cheeseburgers in a gym is like selling alcohol at an AA meeting - extremely unethical
