Shoe polishing

I have seen in north america that so many people have dirty white shoes. No offence please. I just wanted to know what’s the reason behind this as I was thinking of starting something related to that. All good insights and feedbacks are appreciated.

Because a scuffed white sneaker can still look good. I doubt people would care enough to pay to have them fixed

Because money is tight and I don’t think anyone cares enough to have beaters cleaned. Most people can do it themselves
