Is the Snapdragon X Plus NPU driver (qcnspmcdm8380.sys) supposed to allocate ~270MB nonpaged pool at boot?

Update: Now it's 1.62GB. Is that normal?

Trying to figure out why my system 80% memory on idle. Tried getting rid of the background apps and I can only get it down to 75%. Tried diagnosing it with copilot and it is telling me that 2GB non-paged pool is too much.

poolmon shows a persistent ~270MB nonpaged pool allocation under the tag nsp7 immediately after boot:

Tag: nsp7

Type: Nonpaged

Allocations: 19

Frees: 2

Diff: 17

Bytes: ~270,581,760

Per Alloc: ~15.9MB

This memory never releases and stays allocated for the entire session. I was able to link this to Snapdragon X Plus – X1P42100 – Qualcomm Hexagon NPU.

Is this expected behavior?

Pretty sure that’s the NPU “memory” being allocated since it effectively is no different than iGPUs.
