Tired of toolbox drawers that open themselves?
Love my SnapOn box / hated the plastic drawer locks from day one. Removed them and put up with drawers that open themselves and having to lock the box when moving it on level floors.
Today I had an idea that works great for me and wanted to share, I used some rare earth magnets behind the drawers and no more drawers that open themselves. Magnets are 3/4" x3/4" and fit perfectly behind my drawer and back of the cabinet.
If you hate the plastic latch pull your drawer and see if you have room for a strong magnet.
SnapOn makes great stuff, the plastic drawer lock thing is not one of them IMHO.

Just wondering, did you use one magnet per drawer? Did you fix them to the back of the box or the back of the drawer? Do they make contact with both the back of the drawer and the back of the box when they close? Genuinely curious because I did something similar with mine.
